Please see the following message that we have sent at the request of General President Christensen.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I’m pleased to share exciting news about the IUEC’s continued commitment to focus on health, income, safety, and family! On June 2, 2025, we added two NEW tax-free benefits to the IUEC Voluntary Income Protection (VIP) Plan: Group Accident Coverage & Group Critical Illness Coverages.
These benefits are now available to all active, dues-paying Members and their families in the U.S., Guam, and Puerto Rico. Like all VIP Plan options, they are Guaranteed Approved—no medical exams, no health questions—when you enroll by Friday, June 27 for coverage effective July 1, 2025. The VIP Plan has already proven to be a critical financial safety net for our Members—providing nearly $2 million in tax-free benefits to those unable to work due to illness, injury, surgery, mental health conditions, substance abuse treatment, or even death.
Open enrollment is still active, but the window closes Friday June 27, 2025. To learn more or to enroll, visit https://iuecvip.com/

Our goal is to ensure every Member understands what’s available through the IUEC VIP Plan, and what’s at risk if left uncovered. Please continue to work safe!
Fraternally,
Frank J. Christensen
