  • Education

    All members holding a Minnesota Constructors License will need to complete 16 hours of continuing education ever 2 years                                                         

    All apprentice holding a Minnesota Unlicense License must complete 2 hours of continuing education every year

    These continuing ed classes are held at the Union Hall the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 A.M 

    Apprentice OJT Forms must be filled out monthly

    Local 9 Joint Apprentice Committee - (JAC) meets the 3rd Monday of every month 3:30 - 5:00 P.M at the Union Hall

    Minnesota Monthly Code Outreach This is something new. I’ve been in contact with Scott Hultstrom a National Coordinator with the Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund. They put on a code outreach program in different jurisdictions throughout the U.S. We are going to start this in Minnesota.
